Going to Lake Havasu? Check out these places...

We took a two night trip to Lake Havasu for a quick get away. Although the driving felt a little long (not much in between), it was a fun little place to visit. We couldn't believe the amazing expensive boats that were on the lake. The weekend was busy as there were UTV races, boat races, London Bridge Days, and a Music Festival.

If you're going to Lake Havasu, check out a couple places we liked:

VRBO: We stayed at a great two bedroom condo right on the water, with views of the London Bridge. This was a great place to stay as you could walk to a lot of restaurants, shopping, and watch the boats come through the channel. Check out our VRBO here: Waterfront Lake Havasu Condo w/ BBQ & Pool Access! - Lake Havasu City (vrbo.com). It was very clean, easy to check in/out and would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast: We stopped at Juicy's on the way out of town to a great breakfast place. It was very busy but the staff was so friendly and they knew how to get people taken care of timely. Definitely put this on your list if you want breakfast.

Taxi Service. We tried to get Lyft or Uber but there were no cars available. So, I did a search for a taxi service and I found the nicest guy. Definitely use this guy if you need to be driven anywhere in Lake Havasu. We used him all day Saturday and he was the best. He is stellar at the Name the Band game that my friends and I play. He knew a lot of music!

Looking for a nice restaurant? We got dressed up and went to Cha' Bones. It was really a great dining experience. We made reservations a couple weeks before as we knew it was a busy weekend in Lake Havasu. Our waiter was fantastic and suggesting different food and beverages to try. I had the poblano chicken and it was really great. My friends also had the shrimp appetizer and they loved it. Definitely go here if you want a nice sit down dinner in a fun atmosphere.

Need a quick lunch/brunch? There is a sandwich shop called Fat Subs. They don't have a website but they are located at 91 London Bridge Rd. The staff were so friendly and the subs were delicious.

Love Sports? We wanted to watch the Iowa Hawkeye football game and a local suggested we try Legendz Sports Bar and Grill because they had so many TVs. This place was great for some cocktails, appetizers and they had a lot of TVs. Bartender and waitresses were really friendly.

I hope you enjoyed reading. My only purposes for this blog is if any of my family, friends, or readers are going to Lake Havasu that they might try some great places.
