Hi there!

I’m a Midwest girl at heart, and I’m pretty sure that’s where I learned some of my favorite things: work hard, be kind, treat people right, and always make time for the people you love.

​

I grew up in the little town of Absarokee, Montana, then headed to Fargo, North Dakota, for college at NDSU. Fargo will always have a special place in my heart—although I have to admit, I’m much happier visiting in the summer these days! 

​

It was in Fargo that I met my husband, and we’ve been on quite an adventure together ever since. His career with Bell Bank (fka State Bank) gave us the opportunity to live in some pretty incredible places, including one of out favorites Big Cormorant Lake in Minnesota, where we absolutely loved lake life. From there, we moved to downtown Minneapolis and lived in a renovated warehouse near Target Field. We loved being able to walk to restaurants, theaters, parks, and everything else the city had to offer.

Before Real Estate…

Before becoming a Realtor®, I worked in the legal field, supporting both civil and criminal litigation.  That experience taught me a lot about details, deadlines, contracts, communication, and staying calm when things get complicated—which turns out to be pretty useful in real estate! I bring that background to every transaction, especially when we're navigating contracts, negotiations, inspections, and escrow. I want my clients to feel informed, protected, and confident throughout the process.

And then came Arizona.

My parents had already made their way to Arizona, and during one visit, we purchased a home in an age-restricted community called Sunland Village East as an investment property.  That little investment ended up changing our lives.

​

After a few short trips to our Arizona home/community and a couple more Minnesota winters—and realizing just how much we loved the Arizona sunshine and the fun of living in an amenity-packed community —we decided to make the move permanent in 2017. Thanks in part to my husband’s wonderful employer, Bell Bank, Arizona became home.

And honestly? We never saw it coming.

I used to think (and maybe you do to) Arizona was just… desert. I couldn't have been more wrong. There is so much beauty here, and even more than that, there is an incredible lifestyle. The winters are hard to beat, the communities are full of activity and connection, and there’s always something to look forward to.  We've completely fallen in love with it and that is why I get so excited to work with Buyers who are getting ready to experience Arizona to escape their winters.

Life Is Meant to Be Lived

My husband and I have been married for more than 24 years, and when I look back at all the places we’ve lived and the adventures we’ve had together, I’m incredibly grateful for the life we’ve built. His career with Bell Bank has taken us on quite a journey, with plenty of moves, new places, new friends, and more than a few adventures along the way.  These days, we love taking advantage of everything Arizona has to offer, whether that means exploring a new restaurant, getting outside, discovering a new place, enjoying a beautiful day on the golf course, or simply spending time together with our family and friends.

We’ve had a few health scares that have given us some perspective and reminded us of something we all know, but sometimes need a little reminder of: life is precious, and it’s shorter than we think. Those experiences have made us more intentional about saying yes to the things we’ve always talked about doing, checking things off the bucket list instead of leaving them there, and approaching life with curiosity, excitement, and a little more “why not?”

And honestly, that’s one of the things I love most about helping people find their next home and community. Your home should support the life you want to live—not someday, but now.

Meet Murphy 🐾

Of course, no introduction to our family would be complete without Murphy, our Goldendoodle.

We were longtime Lab people, so Murphy brought a whole new personality into our lives, learning the Doodle personality. He’s independent, playful, a little sassy, and completely spoiled—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Home has always meant community to me.

Today, my husband and I permanently live year round in an age-restricted community called Sunland Village East here in Arizona—and we absolutely love it. Even better, my parents, my sister and a large group of family live in the same community, which is something that not many people can share this fun lifestyle so we consider ourselves lucky.

​

I’ve experienced firsthand what it’s like to be a resident, a neighbor, and someone trying to figure out which community is actually the right fit. And that experience is a huge part of why I love what I do.  

​

I know that finding a home in Arizona isn't just about the house. It’s about the neighbors. The amenities. The clubs you can join. The activities you want to play. The social calendar. The HOA. The lifestyle. The things you’ll actually do on a Tuesday afternoon once you live there; you can't even imagine your busy social calendar until you make the move.

I’m incredibly honored to have been recognized among the Top 1% of Arizona real estate agents for five consecutive years.  That recognition is certainly something I’m proud of, but what means the most to me is what’s behind it: the people who trusted me with their homes, their money, their questions, their big decisions—and often, their friendship.  That’s the part of this business I value most.
